The Ford model A was introduced in 1928 as a replacement for the famous model T. An immediate success, it became one of the most popular cars of the 1930s, being a particular favourite of Hollywood stars Lillian Gish and Will Rogers, politician and future President Franklin D Roosevelt and gangster Clyde Barow of Bonnie and Clyde fame. Ours is a 1930 model, originally assembled in Ford's plant in Argentina, it spent most of it's working life in Uruguay.
